As we have seen, the Pentium !!! micro-architecture is very efficient for mobile CPUs, and consequently was used for the basic design of the Pentium M. The Pentium M CPUID confirms a P6 family CPU, and its model (9) is (surprisingly) between the Coppermine model (8) and the Tualatin model (11).
