Hi all,
There is a book regarding BIOS disassembly (reverse engineering) subject right now. You may want to check it out:

http://www.amazon.com/BIOS-Disassembly-Ninjutsu-Uncovered/dp/1931769605

Perhaps this book will enlighten you in the detail of BIOS reverse engineering. I don't mean to advertise it here. It's just to help out those who wants to know about it in detail. It may be pretty tough to understand for those not proficient enough in assembly language.

greetz,
Pinczakko

PS: There should be a Russian version of the book. I'll ask Natalia Tarkova (my chief editor) about it because it's mentioned in the book writing contract. I think the people at BHV Publishing (www.bhv.ru) currently working on it if it's not yet done.

May I ask you some books for ROM.by? :)
May I ask you some books for ROM.by? :)

It's too bad I will only got 2 free copies of the book :-?. Moreover, they haven't arrive yet because it will shipped next week. Indonesia is far far away from either Russia or USA. I don't know from where my publisher will send it :-? Because it's printed in USA but, the chief editor is in Russia

Never mind! Our people are both USA and Russia... If you want to make a gift to Roman - no borders! The only is to ask mail address.
Hi Icbook,
I can't promise about it right now because I will retain one of the copy, and the other one will be sent to my parents. I will try to get another for rom.by if I can (I think I will be able to do that). The book is in short supply right now, so I think I will need some more time. In the mean time, perhaps you can PM-me the mailing address ;-) --> just in case

I have confirmed about the Russian version of the Book to my publisher. The translation has been finished and they said that it will be published in July-August 2007 time frame. I think it should be available in stores in August . Ofcourse, in Russian-speaking countries
