Do not touch Geforce 7200GO, in this laptop, they do not fail.
Problem is that notebook is beeping on graphic (one long-three short beeps). I heated this graphic chip and notebook start working. After few days of normal workink laptop returned with same problem (blank screen and beeps). I heated 7200go again and it worked for few days...
You think that something else is problem? Chipset?
Is there some BGA chips near videochip?

Try replacing the NF-SPP100-N-A2, is a typical problem when heating Geforce 7200GO you a little heated and it, and it was partially restored.
You`re right. It`s NF-SPP-100-A2 North near 7200GO.
If heating of North do not give result do you think that reballing is solution or another NF-SPP-100-A2 ? What is hese ball spacing?
P.S. Is there list of ball spacing for most used North south and graphic chips?
I heated North and it works for now. I`ll test it for few days, hoping that it will not brake again.
North needs to be changed, after warming back in a few days or weeks ... To reballing buy Chinese stencils on Ebay, when you realize what you need, replace them with better quality.

I got HP Pavillion DV9000 AMD version with broken NF-G6150-N-A2. Wile I was cleaning Epoxy around chip I was heating him on 200 degrees for 5 minutes in order to melt epoxy and clean it. After removing epoxy I started MOBO and it turned on normaly. I red in nFORCE defect page on this forum that chips that are heated lower then point of solder melting and start to work are surely for changing. Is there any point to reball this chip or I need to change it?
Any chip from NVidia, as practice shows, the current change, reball briefly prolongs life.
