Hi,everyone ,I'm come from China.

Now I have a question:

My mainbord is QDI 845GL...But I used BP4.23 edit my mainbord BIOS(4m) always error... EG: I have edit view cpu type" pentium5" But can't view it , view Pentium4 yet...

Why???

BP4.xxx proof some error in old AWARD BIOS only.
Modern P4 BIOS has not this errors.
New feature in some BIOS can be added, but, IMHO, more practycaly to try download last BIOS from manufacturer website instead.
If last BIOS can't solve some youre problem, describe it here.
Do you use USB keyboard? If you use it patcher will not find keyboard and don't apply any new feature. Use PS/2

My Bios date is 08/15/2004, That's last.... I'm only want make a joke: Let's my PC View Pentium 5...BTW, my cpu is Pentium4 2.5G..

bp xxx.bin /c Input "Intel Pentium5" then write in bios, that's awlays view "Intel Pentium4",Not "Intel Pentium5"............NOT HAVE ANY CHANGE.......why???

In fact by luck contrary....

I'm use PS/2 keyboard.... After Bios write in mainboard, the monitor have view nothing(Black) ..that out put PS/2 keyboard , Just have post information... :p

Patcher can not correct the POST result table in any part, so the name and type of your processor will be the real name and type...

Is that the BP's bug? all for 4mb BIOS can't edit POST result like CPU information can't be change...?

No, that's a feature... :wink:
Really (as I know) the author of patcher made this option "in-half" by the serious ethical reason - I think, you can understand why...
And it is so for any BIOSes, not only for 4mbit...

Do you have the "Modbin6" HACK verison? the software can edit"Original.tmp"file..I think you know it..
that's when Modbin6 run then have a file in it's folder... You know the Modbin6 runs only have a file"Original.bin" ,and can't edit&save it.. '

So I need a verion of modbin6 when it runs can have a file"Original.tmp" in it's folder...
