Hi forum,
I'm currently testing an AMD Geode. Unfortunately the only Board (ASUS A7V8X-MX SE) running the CPU is very hard to get. three other boards (ASUS A7N8X, A7N8X-X and A7N8X-E Deluxe) has been patched to accept the 1.0V/1.25V (VID is different from Athlons), but the BIOS do not accept the CPUID (ident. to Mobile Athlons), and so not booting. Now I try to get the A7V8X-MX SE from second hand or patching the BIOS of the A7N series (and so stop wasting money) or buying a A7V400 which is nearly identical to the A7V8X-MX SE and hoping to have a "compatible" BIOS.

How and where can I get this Advanced qualification?
The GEODE is one of my absolute favorite, poorly I do not get paid for evaluating, but with the A7V8X-MX Board running it's amazing what you can do with such less power consumption. I never reengineered a BIOS before so I'm not the most suitable one, but still I try.
The main Problem seems the BIOS lock (because of the CPU ID) which prevents the CPU from being started properly.
